“Shameless” season 9 episode 9 is finally coming after waiting for almost three months. The long wait is over and fans will now get to see what will happen next as Fiona sinks down even more due to the unfortunate events that have made her life so miserable.
“Shameless” season 9 episode 9 is up next after episode 8’s “The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far from the Alibi” that was aired on Oct. 21, 2018. The upcoming chapter was unusually titled “BOOOOOOOOOOOONE!” and as posted on Showtime, its plot summary reads: “Frank searches for ways to finance Ingrid’s vision for their future together. Fiona’s anger issues cause problems at Patsy’s.”
Also, “Lip is forced to confront his real feelings for Tami. Kelly’s father attempts to get in the middle of her relationship with Carl while Kev and V realize they are in over their heads with their latest fostering endeavor.”
Based on the synopsis, “Shameless” season 9 episode 9 is presenting five stories about the Gallaghers and they are all interesting. Likewise, it will pick up from the last episode before the break so Fiona will still be the main focus while also touching on the lives of the other characters.
In any case, Fiona’s downward spiral could worsen in “Shameless” season 9 episode 9 since the actress playing the role had already announced her departure from the series. Yes, Emmy Possum is set to leave and it seems that the show wants to make her exit more memorable and dramatic.
It is likely that the rest of the episodes after “Shameless” season 9 episode 9 will revolve around Fiona because this is the only way that the show could give Emmy Rossum a good send off. They will have her character leave while she is in misery so there will be more stories to tell after her exit, and this will also open the possibility for her role to return in the future.
“Shameless” season 9 episode 9 is returning on Jan. 27 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
