JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 23, 2016 -- Stein Mart (NASDAQ:SMRT) announces the locations of its five new stores opening this spring - the first phase of its 2016 store plan to open at least 12 new stores this year. This news follows the company’s recent release of total sales growth of 3.2 percent for 2015.
“We are very pleased with the progress we are making with our store growth. This year’s anticipated store openings will surpass the ten stores we opened last year and nine stores in 2014,” said Jay Stein, CEO of Stein Mart. “We look forward to introducing our current and new customers to these wonderful new locations where they will always find great values on the best designer and name brand merchandise, in an attractive, easy-to-shop setting.”
The spring store group includes the company’s first ever store in Delaware and a second, sister-store to its very successful Naples, FL location. The five new stores which will open on March 10, 2016 are located in:
- Aurora (Denver), CO: Arapahoe Crossing shopping center
- King of Prussia (Philadelphia), PA: West Dekalb Pike and Henderson Road
- Madison, WI: next to West Towne Mall
- Naples, FL: Tamiami Crossing shopping center
- Wilmington, DE: Concord Square
The locations of the seven or more new fall stores, which are scheduled to open in October and November, will be announced this summer.
