San Francisco, Nov. 09, 2016 --
Riviera, a tech-enabled recruiting firm providing services to tech companies seeking the best engineering talent, has announced the appointment of Jason Hann as its newest director. A recruiting industry veteran, Hann most recently served as CEO of VonChurch, a global recruiting firm specializing in the digital entertainment industry.
Prior to joining VonChurch, Hann held senior positions at Panoramic Solutions (now Genuent) and K2 Partnering Solutions. He was also the founder of Premier Tech Partners.
“Jason has been in this business for more than 20 years and his network and approach to hiring are keenly aligned with the Riviera model,” said Will Hunsinger, COO at Riviera. “In addition to his many years of recruiting experience at the highest level, he also brings the unique perspective of having been a startup founder, insight that is particularly valuable to the Riviera client.”
“My hiring philosophy is simple: identify the right combination of qualified, motivated and talented people, and give them the tools and inspiration they need to achieve a common goal,” said Hann. “Riviera’s data-driven approach to this matching process, combined with the personal touch they apply to every client and candidate interaction, is something I believe strongly is the way of the future for the hiring industry.”
Hann joins a staff of 35 recruiters, as well as a team of 20 engineers and data scientists. This experienced team is working to find top tech companies their most critical hires in leadership and product development roles, making Riviera the partner of choice for VCs and tech brands when they need to place senior engineering executives or seasoned product developers. The company has placed key roles at Pinterest, Postmates, Tinder, Twilio and partnered with VCs such as Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, Benchmark, Accel, Menlo Ventures, KPCB, Greylock and General Catalyst.
Built over the past 10 years, Riviera’s analytics and collaboration platform is powering a new technology-enabled talent marketplace where the highest quality engineers are being matched with the most relevant opportunities, driving new efficiencies into modern hiring.
