“The Blacklist” season 6 episode 2 will follow the series’ midseason premiere that will open on Jan. 3, 2019. This chapter will immediately be shown the next day as the second part of the series’ 2-day special.
“The Blacklist” season 6 episode 2 will feature the chapter entitled “The Corsican” and as published on Screen Spy, its synopsis reads: “Liz and the task force race to stop an imminent bombing by an elusive Blacklister and Red has an encounter that changes the trajectory of his life forever.”
As per the summary, this could be related to the “Blacklist” season 6’s official plot where someone seems to have betrayed Raymond “Red” Reddington. The betrayal sent Red to the prison but who exactly and how he was stabbed in the back is yet to be seen in the upcoming episodes.
Now, Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone) is torn between helping Red who she just discovered to be her father or going against him since he also appeared to be just an impostor who assumed the identity of the real Reddington who died years ago. There is a part of her who wants to help him while there are also these little voices that tell her to abandon him because he is fake.
Liz also launched an off-the-books investigation with her sister, Jennifer, to find out how the real Reddington has died and what is fake Red’s real identity. Will the sisters uncover the truth about the supposedly fake Red (James Spader)?
Meanwhile, fans can also look forward to “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 3 titled “The Pharmacist.” It will air on Jan. 11, 2019 and will feature Ken Leung and Becky Ann Baker as guest stars.
“The Blacklist” season 6 episode 2 will be on broadcast this coming Jan. 4, 2019 at 9 p.m. on NBC. Check out these teaser photos for more spoilers for “The Corsican.”
