“The OA” season 2 is finally coming back after a series of delays. Brit Marling, the show’s creator, writer, and actress in the titular role, could not release the new installment on time due to the revisions in the story.
But at last, the long wait is over and “The OA” season 2 will be out in a few days from now. So, what will happen next? What are Prairie’s new adventures in the sci-fi drama? And lastly, will she meet Homer this time?
Based on the “The OA” season 2 trailer, the sequel will be different from the premiere season. It will still focus on Prairie but her story will not be the same anymore. She got her sight back and in the finale of the first season, she was shot and it seems that she had a near-death experience again thus when she woke up in a hospital, her life is nothing like the kind of life she had lived before.
“The OA” season 2 spoilers hinted that Prairie finally achieved her goal of going into the other dimension. After being shot in the season 1’s finale, she woke up to a new fate. She is now a Russian heiress who was not subjected to the NDE experiment carried out by Dr. Hunter “Hap” Aloysius Percy.
In her new world in “The OA” season 2, Dr. Hap is not someone who abducted her for his experiment but it is yet to see what he has become in Prairie’s new life in the other world. Also, she might see Homer again too since she finally made it to the other dimension.
As per E! News, the plot summary of “The OA” season 2 reads: “The mind-bending story returns with The OA Part II, which follows OA as she navigates a new dimension, one in which she had a completely different life as a Russian heiress, and one in which she once again finds herself as Hap’s captive.”
In addition, “BBA, Angie and the boys find themselves on a journey to understand the truth behind OA’s story and the incredible realities she described.” Meanwhile, “The OA” season 2 is set to premiere on March 22 via Netflix.
