NEW YORK, Feb. 23, 2016 -- TransPerfect, the world’s leading provider of language services and technology solutions for global business, today announced that year-end sales totals for its GlobalLink technology were the highest ever, breaking records in terms of unit sales, new-client engagements, and overall revenues.
For the year, GlobalLink added 580 new clients across multiple industry verticals, including retail, life sciences, hospitality, finance, and software. Total revenue for the GlobalLink division of TransPerfect increased by over 40% to top $85 million.
Key drivers of GlobalLink growth in 2015 included:
Continued Commitment to Integration
GlobalLink added integration capabilities for ten new third-party platforms, including Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, ZenDesk, Percolate, Salesforce, WordPress, and inRiver, extending the functionality of what was already the world’s most flexible and integration-friendly translation management system. GlobalLink now supports seamless integration into over 40 of the world’s most popular content management, e-commerce, product information management, and marketing automation systems—more than any other platform in the market. Continued enhancement of existing integrations with platforms such as Adobe AEM, Demandware, Drupal, Episerver, SAP Hybris Commerce, and Sitecore also contributed heavily to new customer acquisitions.
Core Product Enhancements
GlobalLink added major new functionality to improve its already best-in-class enterprise reporting capabilities, workflow management, and vendor management, allowing for even greater power and flexibility for enterprise clients looking to manage global content. Other enhancements include In-Context Review for supported third-party platforms and web-based review to help translators and editors improve overall translation quality and time-to-market.
Migration from Competitor Technology
More organizations migrated from competing technologies to GlobalLink in 2015 than in any other year. Multiple organizations took advantage of TransPerfect’s “Safe Harbor” program to enable quick, efficient, and cost-effective transitions. Major client migrations from competitor technology took place in the hospitality, retail, and automotive verticals, helping to drive significant revenue gains for GlobalLink in 2015.
Continued Growth in Proxy Solution Segment
GlobalLink OneLink, TransPerfect’s proxy-based solution for website localization, posted another banner year, with 300+ new target language sites launched in 2015. This brings the total number of global websites managed by OneLink to over 1,800, with 200 million words processed into 25+ languages, enabling 4 billion site hits around the world.
“The continued growth of our GlobalLink division is a clear-cut endorsement of the power and value of the technology,” said Matt Hauser, Vice President of Content Solutions at TransPerfect. “Being agile and delivering innovation has always been a priority, and we look forward to helping our clients drive efficiencies and unlock new markets in 2016 and beyond.”
