NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2016 -- TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately held provider of language and technology solutions for global business, today announced a revenue total of over $136 million for the third quarter of 2016, an all-time record for the rapidly growing organization.
Year to date, TransPerfect’s revenue total of nearly $394 million is well ahead of 2015’s record-setting pace, which saw $360 million tallied through the year’s first three quarters. The company is on pace to once again set a record for annual revenues, marking the 24th consecutive year of growth.
Job creation has continued at a rapid pace as well, with the company bringing 382 new full-time employees aboard this quarter, putting the current new hire total for this year at over 900.
Technology solutions growth continues to reach new heights, as the company announced over 400 new implementations of its flagship GlobalLink technology suite. The announcement was made at TransPerfect’s GlobalLink NEXT technology user conference in late September.
“Throughout 2016, the TransPerfect team has shown time and again the traits that have made the company successful for all these years: dedication, resilience, work ethic, and a commitment to doing what’s best to help our clients grow their global business,” said Liz Elting, Co-CEO of TransPerfect. “It’s tremendously rewarding to see the benefit of these attributes reflected in the form of positive business results.”
TransPerfect Co-CEO Phil Shawe noted, “As we turn into the homestretch for 2016 with near-certain revenue records in sight, I cannot thank our global team members enough for their contributions. Any and all success we have attained is due to having the most diligent and client-oriented professionals in the language industry.”
