MINNETONKA, Minn., March 01, 2018 -- Vital Images is pleased to announce the release of Vitrea Connection version 7.0 with new features that take its enterprise imaging solution to the next level of innovation by introducing a new dataflow engine. Vital will demonstrate Vitrea Connection version 7.0 at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual conference and exhibition, March 5-9, booth #843, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Leveraging the best technologies from all industries, the dataflow engine within Vitrea Connection version 7.0 delivers greater flexibility to tailor workflows across departments. By using a “graphical dataflow designer,” customers can make massive modifications to the dataflow that are extensible enough to meet each department’s needs and accommodate unknown future needs. With a simple drag and drop, customers can quickly and easily create a workflow that is uniquely theirs, without waiting for their custom needs to be addressed within the next version release.
“Our goal is to give our customers more flexibility and eliminate the rigidity of traditional PACS,” says Vital’s Product Line Director Jeff Hendrkse. “Ultimately, we give the customers complete flexibility in developing the workflows that serve them best.”
Vitrea Connection version 7.0 also introduces a new look and feel with a redefined, easier-to-use interface. It is intuitive and saves time for users. The company has also enhanced its storage capabilities, delivering greater flexibility to its customers to organize data, including multi-tenancy and scalability.
Vitrea Connection is the foundation upon which Vital’s visualization and resource-planning solutions excel. It is the engine that constantly provides current information from disparate sources in real time and seamlessly delivers it to applications at the point of care.
