MERRIMACK, N.H., Aug. 02, 2017 -- On August 11-13, 2017, the largest and oldest association for professional consulting hypnotists, the National Guild of Hypnotists, will convene in Marlborough, Massachusetts, for the organization’s 30th annual convention. With record attendance projected, this year’s National Guild of Hypnotists Convention and Educational Conference will feature three days of dynamic ideas, transformation and sharing, led by an international faculty of 172 presenters.
Dr. Dwight Damon, DC, DNGH, OB, NGH President and an NGH founder, said, “This year’s convention and educational conference will be a powerhouse event, fusing the organization’s 67 years of experience and acumen with the insights that are carrying NGH into the future. Today’s professional consulting hypnotist is in tune with issues of wellness in a time of healthcare uncertainty, the opioid crisis, obesity and the sedentary lifestyle, looming retirement deficits and other issues that keep people awake at night and give rise to stress and unhealthy habits and choices.
“Relevant yesterday, today and tomorrow, the power of hypnosis is an effective and affordable tool for helping ordinary, everyday people address the challenges of life.”
For the first time, this year’s NGH Convention will commence with a select delegation of 195 NGH Certified Instructors from around the world meeting pre-convention to analyze and provide feedback on current updates and advances in NGH curriculum and teaching materials.
“The National Guild of Hypnotists,” observed NGH Executive Director Jereme Bachand, BCH, “is the preeminent professional association for consulting hypnotists worldwide, not only because of the strength and scope of its history, but because of its commitment to the bright future of the profession and of NGH members.”
Attendees at the National Guild of Hypnotist Convention will include both NGH Certified Instructors and NGH members from around the world, along with medical and healthcare professionals, educators and interested nonmembers seeking opportunities to expand their current professional skills or launch a rewarding new career. The event is open to interested adults, 18 years of age and older, who wish to attend all or portions of the 2017 NGH Convention. Learn more at www.ngh.net, or call 603.429.9438.
