SHELTON, Conn., Dec. 03, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 3GTMS announces that Jerry Rau has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Jerry brings more than 25 years of transportation and supply chain experience to 3GTMS.

Prior to his arrival at 3GTMS, Jerry served as the President and CEO at Veraction (Previously Iron Data Transportation). Jerry has also served in various Executive positions at RedPrairie (JDA) including EVP of Product and Corporate Marketing, and was also responsible for Channel and Alliances. Prior to RedPrairie, Jerry led Field Operations at i2 Technologies (JDA) serving as Global VP of Field Ops. Other responsibilities included VP of Sales Operations for the Transportation Team, and leading the M&A Integration Team efforts through multiple acquisitions. He has also invested over 15 years on the Carrier/3PL side for various companies including Mayne Nickless, Day & Ross Transportation Group and Canadian Pacific. Jerry has an MBA from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
