“We are excited to announce the opening of our new locations and that we are able to provide training and physical therapy services to athletes at every level of play as well as to their parents and grandparents,” said Robert Leonard, sr. vice president of ATI Operations. “ATI physical therapy may be a new brand to this market, but our therapists have long-standing ties to the community, which is vital to us. The ATI experience is based on the principles of exceeding customer expectations by providing the highest quality of care in a friendly and encouraging environment.”
ATI is committed to the state and community of Birmingham with plans of an additional 11 clinics to be opened by year’s end with plans to expand throughout Alabama. The company’s growth over the past several years is and will continue to be contributed to their patient-centric approach. Teaming up with organizations, such as the Crimson Tide, that share a similar philosophy, only furthered ATI’s interest to form this new alliance.
ATI Physical Therapy is a strong believer in giving back to the communities it serves and plans to give back to families across the state through the ATI Foundation, its philanthropic arm. The ATI Foundation gives help and hope to children with physical impairments. To date, the 501 C (3) organization has given away more than $4 million to children and their families, providing everything from adaptive bikes to wheelchairs to helping pay for treatment costs.
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, strives to verify patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
