AVAX One Technology Ltd. said March 2026 transaction-fee burns on Avalanche (AVAX) were lower than staking issuance, so the reported 17,330 AVAX in burns did not establish a shrinking supply.

The company’s April 8 assessment put average burns at about 559 AVAX per day and said issuance to stakers remained higher at the time. AVAX One said the burns had not yet outweighed new AVAX created through staking.

Validator rewards are issued through the P-Chain separately from fee burns, AVAX One said. The company said the network burns eligible fees on the X-, C- and P-Chains and on Avalanche L1s that use AVAX for gas. It put the supply ceiling at 720 million AVAX, with 360 million created at genesis.
