On Nov. 2, Aave highlighted USDC rewards for eligible users supplying tokenized stocks on Aave V4’s Equities Hub on Base; the program began Oct. 13 and can offset USDC borrowing costs.

Seven stock tokens issued by Coinbase qualified as collateral at launch. Users could borrow only USDC; they could not borrow the stock tokens.

Aave Labs announced the Base hub on Sept. 25, and EconoTimes covered the market’s launch. Eligible borrowers in permitted jurisdictions outside the United States can post the tokens as collateral while retaining exposure to the represented shares.
