About 80% of Bitcoin (BTC) Transactions Were Below 0.01 BTC

The count reflects transaction frequency, not the amount of Bitcoin moved or whether the network was used for purchases.

Transaction frequency can look very different from value transferred: a recent Bitcoin (BTC) count put entries below 0.01 BTC at about 80% of the total.

That share measures how often transactions fell into that size range, not the bitcoin involved. Every transaction contributes one entry, whether it is small or large. The percentage does not show how much Bitcoin changed hands or how often it was used to pay for goods and services.

EconoTimes previously covered the below-0.01 BTC pattern in its earlier coverage of transactions below 0.01 BTC.
