Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan left Athens after an official visit to Greece at the invitation of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Greek Health Minister Spyridon Adonis Georgiadis saw Sheikh Khaled off at Athens International Airport. Sheikh Khaled expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown to his delegation and offered his best wishes to Greece and its people, WAM reported.
The visit came as the UAE and Greece marked 50 years of diplomatic relations. Before it began, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said the trip was intended to strengthen cooperation under the countries’ strategic partnership.
EconoTimes previously reported Sheikh Khaled’s arrival in Athens for talks and an investment forum.
