The Chamber of Digital Commerce, a trade association representing the blockchain and digital asset industry, has announced that Accenture is joining the DC Blockchain Summit 2017 as title sponsor.
“We're pleased to announce Accenture as the Title Sponsor of our DC Blockchain Summit 2017 - which is bringing industry leaders and technologists together with government for a thought-provoking discussion on the future state of blockchain”, the announcement reads.
The event will mark the second annual gathering and is being hosted by the Chamber of Digital Commerce, along with Georgetown University's Center for Financial Markets and Policy. It will include discussions from the people, companies and government leaders who are driving digital assets, blockchain and distributed ledger technologies forward.
Keynote speakers include Ashish Chauhan, managing director and chief executive officer of the Bombay Stock Exchange, and Blythe Masters, CEO of Digital Asset Holdings. Other speakers include the likes of Brian Behlendorf, executive director of Hyperledger Project; Perianne Boring, founder and President of Chamber of Digital Commerce; Jerry Cuomo, IBM vice president, blockchain technologies; Rumi Morales of CME Ventures, and others.
Registrations are now open for the event, which is scheduled to take place at Georgetown University, Washington, DC on 15 and 16 March 2017.
