Actinium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced Oct. 15 that Matt David, M.D., will serve as its chief financial officer and principal financial officer, adding finance leadership as it advances radiotherapy studies and seeks to regain NYSE American compliance.

David will oversee Actinium’s financial operations and accounting, along with its capital-markets and investor-relations work. The company said his career spans more than 20 years in biopharmaceutical leadership, healthcare investment banking and equity research. He previously held finance and business leadership roles at CorMedix. Actinium Chairman and CEO Sandesh Seth called David “an exceptional addition to our leadership team.”

Actinium connected David’s CorMedix background with the company’s DefenCath approval and launch and its acquisition of Melinta Therapeutics. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration lists Nov. 15, 2023, as DefenCath’s original approval date. CorMedix’s 2025 filing says it launched the product for inpatient use in April 2024 and outpatient use in July 2024, then completed the Melinta acquisition on Aug. 29, 2025.

Actinium describes itself as a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing targeted radiotherapies for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Its second-quarter 2026 filing said it expected data from ongoing studies of ATNM-400, Actimab-A and Iomab-ACT in the fourth quarter of 2026 and during 2027. Actimab-A targets myeloid-derived suppressor cells. The filing also lists Iomab-B as a targeted conditioning agent.

David’s appointment follows former CFO Steve O’Loughlin’s resignation, effective Feb. 27, 2026. The board appointed Seth on Feb. 13 to serve as principal financial officer effective Feb. 27.

Actinium disclosed that it was out of compliance with NYSE American continued-listing standards under Sections 1003(a)(ii) and 1003(a)(iii). NYSE Regulation accepted the company’s compliance plan through Nov. 27, 2027. The filing says Actinium’s shares will remain listed during that period, subject to other requirements and periodic review; failure to regain compliance or show progress could lead to delisting proceedings.
