Blockstream co-founder Adam Back criticized BIP110 supporters Tuesday for proceeding without revisions, saying the Bitcoin (BTC) market would resist efforts to impose personal views on the network.

Back said feedback had not led the proposal’s supporters to revise it. Instead, they continued trying to advance BIP110, he said. He described the proposal as having major flaws and called its initial technical review a “serious failure.”

Back also commented on “BIG BITCOIN” memes. He viewed them as a good-faith effort to help supporters understand Bitcoin’s immutability.
