Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) raised its FY27 revenue and EBITDA ranges after first-half growth reached 21% for both measures, while increasing planned annual capital spending by ₹3,000 crore.

APSEZ’s updated FY27 bands are ₹44,000–₹46,000 crore for revenue and ₹26,000–₹27,000 crore for EBITDA, each ₹1,000 crore above the previous range. It raised capex guidance to ₹15,000 crore to ₹17,000 crore from ₹12,000 crore to ₹14,000 crore, linking the increase to faster spending across its growth initiatives.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, revenue from operations was ₹11,340.40 crore, compared with ₹9,167.46 crore a year earlier. The unaudited filing records quarterly EBITDA of ₹6,807 crore, up 23% year over year, and consolidated profit after tax of ₹3,682.44 crore, up 18%.

The filing also shows ₹3,621.94 crore in profit attributable to the parent’s equity holders, up from ₹3,109.05 crore a year earlier. It separately records ₹60.50 crore attributable to non-controlling interests.

Domestic ports remained the largest segment, with revenue of ₹7,177 crore, up 13%. International ports revenue climbed 71% to ₹1,839 crore, logistics revenue rose 21% to ₹1,273 crore and marine revenue advanced 57% to ₹1,007 crore. APSEZ reported that domestic port operations handled 118 million metric tonnes of cargo and held 27.3% of all-India cargo market share and 44.4% of container market share.

International ports recorded ₹878 crore in EBITDA and a 47.7% margin. APSEZ attributed the segment’s performance to the ramp-up of Colombo West International Terminal and Tanzania operations, as well as a contribution from NQXT Australia.

For the first half, revenue reached ₹22,161 crore and EBITDA ₹13,347 crore, each up 21%; profit after tax rose 14% to ₹7,332 crore. The company reported operating cash flow of ₹13,327 crore, investments of ₹10,521 crore and cash of ₹12,502 crore. Its pro forma net debt-to-EBITDA ratio was 1.8 times, calculated using NQXT’s trailing-12-month EBITDA.

Whole-time Director and CEO Ashwani Gupta said, “Domestic Ports continue to anchor our earnings, while International Ports, Logistics and Marine are emerging as powerful growth engines.” APSEZ’s Oct. 28 board meeting was scheduled to consider the results. Its investor-relations calendar tentatively lists Jan. 28, 2027, for a board meeting to consider Q3 FY27 results.
