Addresses holding at least 10 million XRP account for 68.5% of supply, while daily activity has receded from an August surge and the holder tally has continued to climb.
Balances in the 10-million-XRP-and-above address band totaled 46.87 billion XRP, or 68.5% of supply. That proportion had not been higher for the band since November 2022.
Active addresses approached 938,000 during an August surge; the latest reading was about 24,300. The holder tally rose to roughly 8.26 million during that interval.
Each number answers a different question. One counts addresses active each day, another tracks addresses holding XRP, and the concentration reading totals tokens held by addresses with at least 10 million XRP. The three readings describe activity, addresses with balances and the share of supply in large-balance addresses.
Daily activity readings do not establish how many users returned to the network. EconoTimes has previously explained the limits of XRP Ledger activity metrics: they do not verify account holders or show when addresses last transacted.
