Aeroflex Industries reported an 87% increase in quarterly revenue and a 157% rise in net profit; Mint said shares reached ₹559 intraday Oct. 29, alongside a separate ₹202 crore expansion plan.

Mint reported that shares opened at ₹533.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), compared with a previous close of ₹491.65, before reaching ₹559, a 13.7% intraday gain. The outlet also reported trading volume was eight times higher, but did not specify the comparison period.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, Aeroflex's unaudited consolidated results showed revenue from operations of ₹207.36 crore (₹2.07 billion), up from ₹110.87 crore a year earlier. Net profit was ₹36.56 crore (₹365.6 million), compared with ₹14.23 crore in the year-earlier quarter. The results were subject to a limited review.

The filing also said the company changed its depreciation method for property, plant and equipment to straight-line depreciation. Aeroflex applied the change prospectively after reassessing how those assets' future economic benefits are consumed, saying it reduced quarterly depreciation by ₹8.41 crore and increased profit after tax by ₹8.23 crore compared with its previous method.

Aeroflex announced the expansion plan on Oct. 14. It allocated ₹124 crore to stainless-steel hose and braiding capacity and a new assemblies plant, and ₹78 crore to liquid-cooling skid assemblies. The company said the projects are intended to meet future demand and are expected to be completed in phases by March 2028.

The plan would increase hose and braiding capacity from 20 million meters a year to 30 million meters. It also sets a target of 30,000 liquid-cooling skid assemblies annually. Aeroflex said it plans to fund the work through internal accruals, equity and bridge-loan financing.
