Affimed N.V. (Nasdaq:AFMD), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing highly targeted cancer immunotherapies, today announced the pricing of its previously announced public offering of 10,000,000 of its common shares at a public offering price of $1.80 per common share. In addition, Affimed has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 common shares at the public offering price less underwriting discounts. After deducting the underwriting discounts, the net proceeds of the public offering are expected to be approximately $16.9 million. The offering is expected to close on or about January 25, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
