Agility Robotics entered Nasdaq trading Nov. 5 after a merger and related financings brought in about $465 million before expenses, taking a commercial humanoid-robotics company into U.S. public markets.
The merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI closed Nov. 4. Nasdaq's corporate-action record lists AGLT shares and AGLTW warrants as effective for trading Nov. 5.
Agility said the $465 million total combines about $164 million in Churchill's trust account, roughly $201 million raised through a Foxconn-led equity placement priced at $10 a share, and $100 million in equity funding received after the merger was announced. The amount is before transaction expenses. Agility plans to use the funds to meet customer demand, expand robot deployments and increase production.
The company values agreements for its Digit 5 humanoid robot at more than $300 million over multiple years. Agility said deliveries depend on meeting contract milestones and product specifications, so the expected value should not be treated as revenue already booked for the current period. It also reported more than 65,000 hours of robot operation and commercial deployments with GXO, Schaeffler and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. The hours figure aggregates work across Agility's operations and customer programs, rather than measuring activity at GXO alone.
Agility said Digit is designed for repetitive, physically demanding tasks and workplaces facing labor shortages. Its listing announcement cited nearly three years of field deployment and said Digit had moved more than 100,000 totes at GXO's Georgia facility. The company said its expanded relationship with GXO covers deployments at two more U.S. logistics facilities in early 2027, building on EconoTimes' earlier report on GXO's rollout plans.
Agility expects initial customers to receive Digit 5 in the first six months of 2027 and aims to make it generally available by the end of that year.
