Al Jazeera Media Network plans 33 programs and a three-screen plan for its Arabic-language news operation ahead of its Nov. 1 anniversary, assigning distinct roles to live coverage, developing news and analysis.
Under the campaign, Al Jazeera Mubasher will cover events directly, Al Jazeera Now will focus on fast-moving developments, and the flagship Al Jazeera service will provide context and analysis. The plan gives each screen a different editorial function, from immediate coverage to deeper examination of events.
The network says the planned programs will offer perspectives beyond a basic account of what happened. Its campaign slogan, translated from Arabic, is “Your questions are our questions.” Al Jazeera frames the redesign as a response to its view that one way of following news is no longer enough.
A separate technology initiative was announced in December 2025. The companies said Google Cloud would be the primary technology provider for The Core, a separate Al Jazeera initiative to use AI in news production with people involved throughout the process. The announcement did not connect The Core to the anniversary lineup.
Al Jazeera dates its launch to Nov. 1, 1996, making Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, its 30th anniversary. The campaign does not include a complete list of the 33 programs or a schedule for their rollout.
