“Animal Kingdom” Season 4 will have a couple of characters take on a more prominent role. Among them is Olivia (Kelli Berglund), a rich, charming, and pretty college freshman who’ll be gravitating towards J (Finn Cole), Deadline reported.
Olivia will be sharing a statistics class with the youngest Cody and might form a relationship with him in “Animal Kingdom” Season 4. Although Berglund’s career blossomed in the environment of Disney, the actress seems to have opened her wings and take on a more mature role.
What’s interesting about Berglund’s inclusion in “Animal Kingdom” Season 4 is that she isn’t a stranger being a rebel when it comes to the law. It can be recalled that the actress was once slapped with a citation by authorities when she used a fake ID during a Coachella event. Of course, that pales in comparison to what the Cody household has been pulling off.
The rowdy bunch of Smurf (Ellen Barkin) will be taking more dangerous heists in “Animal Kingdom” Season 4. In the trailer of the fourth installment, it can be seen that the gang robbed a bank at gunpoint and was seen making their escape with police tailing behind them.
“Animal Kingdom” Season 4 will also have Angela (Emily Deschanel) take on a more vital role in the story’s progression as she tries to slink her way back into the good graces of the Cody ensemble. While Angela will have some influence over Pope, she’ll have a hard time charming Smurf and J, given her history with the family.
And speaking of Pope, it seems that his battle with his inner demons will be taking new heights in “Animal Kingdom” Season 4. While this isn’t confirmed just yet, it appears Pope will enter the world of cage-fighting in the upcoming installment.
Smurf may have something to do with this development as she tries to give Pope an outlet for the storm brewing within him. Regarding the release date of “Animal Kingdom” Season 4, TNT has yet to announce anything on this front. However, it’s being speculated that it will come out sometime between May and July.
