Apple India Private Limited’s revenue surpassed ₹1 trillion in fiscal 2026, The Economic Times reported, in a smartphone market where higher-priced models have taken a growing share of shipments.

Using company filings accessed through AltInfo, the newspaper put revenue from operations at ₹1,03,853 crore (about ₹1.04 trillion) for the year ended March 31, 2026. That was 31% above the previous year’s ₹79,060 crore.

Net profit reached ₹5,311 crore, up 66% from ₹3,196 crore, The Economic Times reported. Revenue growth had been 18% in fiscal 2025. The newspaper said the filings did not explain the faster growth.

Counterpoint Research’s market data cover calendar 2025, a different period from Apple India’s fiscal year. It said smartphone shipments in India rose 1%, while their estimated wholesale value increased 8%. Shipments of phones priced above ₹30,000 grew 11%, giving them a record 22% share of all units shipped.

Apple held 28% of the market’s estimated smartphone shipment value in 2025, Counterpoint said. The iPhone 16 was India’s most-shipped model. That shipment-value measure is distinct from Apple India’s reported revenue from operations.

Counterpoint said higher margins made brands focused on premium phones more resilient. Rising memory and other component costs constrained brands focused on phones priced below ₹15,000, particularly toward the end of 2025, it said.

In February, Apple announced plans to open Apple Borivali in Mumbai on Feb. 26 as its sixth Indian store. The company listed financing and trade-ins among the store’s services.

The Economic Times separately reported that Samsung India Electronics Private Limited’s revenue from operations rose 1.2% to ₹1,12,527 crore in fiscal 2026. Its mobile phone revenue fell 1.4% to ₹81,472 crore. The broader business includes products beyond phones and exports.

Apple Inc. has scheduled its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings call for Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. ET.
