The University of San Andrés survey’s two-point gap was smaller than its reported approximate 95% margin of error of ±3.15 percentage points, while a separate October poll gave united Peronism a slim edge over President Javier Milei.
The University of San Andrés (UdeSA) surveyed 1,000 adults in Argentina who use the internet from Oct. 5-13, 2026. It recorded 26% for La Libertad Avanza, Milei’s party, and 24% for Peronism. Another 21% said they did not know, while 5% preferred not to answer. UdeSA reports an approximate 95% margin of error of ±3.15 percentage points; that is larger than the gap between the two party figures.
Analogías’ October summary put “Peronismo Unido” at 31.6% and Milei at 30.9%. The survey compared a united Peronist option with Milei, while UdeSA asked about party preference, so the results reflect different choices.
UdeSA also asked about social concerns. Respondents most often named lack of work (39%), followed by low salaries (35%), poverty (31%) and corruption (30%).
Neither survey establishes a Peronist nominee or the final candidate lineup for the 2027 presidential election.
