Asian markets higher, gold and silver rally in early hours of Asia

Asian markets were trading on a higher note on the start of a new week. This week will be important for the stocks as well as commodities market as RBNZ and FOMC will declare the interest rate decision. Gold was trading around $1,315 mark and silver was trading around $19.11 marks.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Respect-for-the-Aged Day.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading around 0.60 percent higher at 2,011.11 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,005.32 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,242.74 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.60 percent higher at 23,475.24 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.32 percent lower at 5,279.10 points.
