Asian markets higher, gold falls about 1 pct to $1,323

All the major Asian stock indices are trading on flat to higher note on the start of a new week. On the other side gold and silver are trading on a lower note on Monday. Gold falls about one pct to $1,323 and silver hits fresh 6-day low at $19.74 marks.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Marine Day.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.02% higher at 2,017.17 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,047.64 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,269.71 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.17% higher at 21,696.15 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.53% higher at 5,458.80 points.
