Asian markets in green, gold stabilizes below $1,320

Asian indices were trading on higher note on the start of a new week. Gold and silver were highly volatile during the Asian hours. Gold was trading around $1,317 and silver was trading around $19.22 marks.

Chinese banks will be closed in observance of National Day.

South Korean banks will be closed in observance of National foundation day of Korea.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 1.08 percent higher at 16,626.24 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 1.47 percent higher at 23,637.24 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.89 percent higher at 5,483.10 points.
