Asian markets marginally higher, gold stabilizes above $1,280 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Tuesday. On the other side, gold and silver were trading lower as U.S. dollar jumps. Gold was trading around $1,283 mark and silver was trading around $18.20 mark.  

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.10 percent higher at 1,998.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.07 percent lower at 17,164.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,140.94 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.3 pct at 3,367.70 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.22 percent higher at 22,879.00 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.07 percent higher at 5,254.40 points.
