Asian markets marginally higher, gold stable above $1,250

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note at the start of a new week. Gold was trading around $1,252 mark while silver was trading around $17.94 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 0.60 percent higher at 18,778 points.  

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.05 percent higher at 24,270 points.

Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading around 0.64 percent higher at 5,899 marks.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.07 percent lower at 2,129.10 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,285.46 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,519.46 points.

Taiwan’s market was trading 0.02 percent higher at 9,875.43 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.13 percent higher at 9,209.65 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.12 percent higher at 29,741.94 points.
