Asian markets mixed, gold stabilizes above $1,270

Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Monday. On the other side, gold and silver were trading on a higher note. Gold was trading around $1,276 mark and silver was trading around $17.86 mark.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.55 percent lower at 2,008.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.30 percent lower at 17,394.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,097.19 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,332.41 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.24 percent higher at 23,011.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.77 percent higher at 5,324.10 points.

Taiwan stocks open down 0.3 pct at 9,283.20 points.
