Asian markets slightly higher, gold steady $1,212

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. On the other side, gold and silver were also marginally higher in early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,212 and silver was trading around $16.63 marks.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Labor Thanksgiving Day.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.48 percent higher at 1,992.36 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,247.94 points and China's csi300 index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,473.89 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.42 percent higher at 22,773.00 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.21 percent higher at 5,479.60 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.09 percent lower at 7,994.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.08 percent lower at 25,939.28 points.
