Asian markets turn positive, gold back above $1210

Most Asian markets are trading on a higher note on Tuesday. Gold remains well supported above $1200 marks and trading around $1212 marks. On the other side, Japanese Yen gains in early hours on strong household spending, industrial production data but the movement was temporary only and pair finds support above 111 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei N225 was trading 0.81% higher at 17,205 points in Tokyo.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.62% higher at 1,979.16 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 2,822.59 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,068.60 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng index was trading 1.38% higher at 20,915 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.23% lower at 5,395.60 points.

India’s BSE Sensex was trading 0.34% higher at 26,817.40 while NSE Nifty up by 0.25% to 8,198.40 points.
