McKamey will work with mid-market companies in the area. Specifically, he will partner with businesses to meet treasury, lending and cash management needs. He said his focus is to provide a holistic banking experience for his clients.
“My primary focus will be working with middle market sized companies, which is why I came to Atlantic Capital,” McKamey said. “We have the platform and capabilities of working with businesses of all sizes while delivering a local approach.”
Before Atlantic Capital, McKamey spent more than 20 years with Bank of America. He worked in Chattanooga for some of these years--and was a 2006 Leadership Chattanooga graduate--before accepting a position as Vice President of Relationship Management in Nashville.
While in Nashville he worked with a wide variety of businesses including manufacturing, services businesses and entertainment industry clients. McKamey moved back to Chattanooga in 2015 to lead Bank of America’s Commercial Banking efforts.
McKamey’s love for the arts colors his personal life and community involvement. He is on the board of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Arts Build and the Chattanooga Ballet.
Joe DiNicolantonio, Atlantic Capital Bank Executive Vice President, said McKamey was a strategic hire as Atlantic Capital pursues quality banking relationships in Chattanooga.
“Marcus has a superior track record of success,” DiNicolantonio said. “He offers his clients thoughtful ideas, market knowledge and industry specific solutions. We are delighted to have him join our team.”
