Cardano gained a new venue for perpetual futures on Nov. 2, when Atlas opened a decentralized exchange that lets traders back leveraged positions with stablecoins.

The exchange supports positions on both rising and falling prices. Users can apply leverage, with stablecoins serving as collateral for their trades.

Across the 12 biggest decentralized perpetual-futures venues, notional volume came to $1.7 trillion in Q2 2026, compared with $2 trillion the quarter before. The combined figure covers those 12 exchanges; it does not show Atlas-specific trading or establish activity on Cardano.
