One of the most significant events in the final season will unfold in “Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 5 as Willy Tybur reveals a piece of crucial information about the history of Eldia and Marley. However, anime fans will have to wait for episode 64, titled “Declaration of War,” longer than usual as the series goes on a short break.
‘Attack on Titan’ season 4 episode 5 release date delayed until January 2021
New episodes of “Attack on Titan” season 4 are released every Monday, but there will not be a new installment going on the air next week. Like most series, the anime based on Hajime Isayama’s same title manga will also be on a break after episode 63 was released earlier this week.
It has been confirmed that anime fans will have to wait until Monday, Jan. 11 next year to see “Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 5. Shortly after the episode airs in Japan, anime viewers around the world can tune in through official streaming platforms such as Crunchyroll, AnimeLab, Funimation, and Netflix.
Eren holds Reiner hostage as Willy Tybur declares war vs. Paradis
The latest episode has a very important post-credit scene that confirms the injured soldier Falco has befriended was actually Eren. He then used Falco to lure Reiner to a basement. Eren will reveal in “Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 5 that they are located below the stage for Willy Tybur’s speech.
Eren will practically hold Reiner and Falco hostage in “Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 5 as he forces the two to remain in the basement and listen to Tybur’s speech with him. To convince them both, Eren will also reveal that his hand is already bleeding suggesting he could turn into his Titan form any moment. Since the basement is below a very populated area, forcing Reiner to stay will not require much effort.

Meanwhile, Willy Tybur will reveal to everyone watching his speech that Marley did not need Helos to be saved from the Titans because King Fritz was a pacifist, and renouncing war was his idea. King Fritz only vowed to unlock the power of Founding Titan should Marley decide to invade Paradis.
Tybur will argue, however, that the situation has changed after a rebellion in Paradis and that Eren, a non-royal, has taken possession of the Founding Titan. And he will use this to justify declaring war against Paradis in “Attack on Titan” season 4 episode 5. This will be Eren’s cue to activate the Attack Titan right in the middle of Liberio, which will lead to Willy Tybur’s demise.
