NEW YORK, Sept. 13, 2017 -- Bay Dynamics®, a leader in cyber risk analytics software, has won the “User Behavior Analytics Security Solution Provider of the Year” award presented by CyberSecurity Breakthrough as part of the 2017 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards. Bay Dynamics’ flagship analytics platform, Risk Fabric®, incorporates proprietary User and Entity Behavior Analytics as well as many other tools and data points for identifying and prioritizing people whose behavior may indicate a risk to organizations, like insider threats, compromised accounts or careless users.
“Risky users on the inside, whether they are bad actors, innocent employees, or third-party vendors pose the biggest threat to organizations and are tough to find,” said Ryan Stolte, co-founder and CTO at Bay Dynamics. “That’s why for more than a decade we have focused our efforts on monitoring and analyzing behaviors combined with asset value, associated vulnerabilities and impact to the organization if an asset at risk were compromised, to prioritize the top threats security teams should investigate each day. We are proud to receive this award and will continue our mission of enabling enterprises and government agencies to protect their assets that matter most.”
To further its leadership in User and Entity Behavior Analytics, Bay Dynamics recently announced a new technology partnership with Symantec Corporation to help organizations better detect and mitigate insider threats. Bay Dynamics has eight granted patents and 15 pending, bringing its patent portfolio to more than 20. The company recently released Risk Fabric version 6.0, which includes the quantification of cyber risk capability.
The 2017 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards recognizes the top companies, products, innovation and people in the cyber security industry today. This year, more than 2,000 nominations were submitted. Entries were judged by an independent panel of experts within the information security industry, with representation from a cross-section of industry experts.
“Our mission with the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards is to recognize the innovation, hard work and success of organizations addressing today’s complex information security landscape,” said James Johnson, managing director, CyberSecurity Breakthrough. “The User Behavior Analytics award category was hyper-competitive and Bay Dynamics rose above the other nominations with their Risk Fabric platform, helping organizations prioritize and take action on the most critical threats and vulnerabilities that put their most valued assets at risk. Congratulations to the Bay Dynamics team on their well-deserved industry recognition.”
