Nahai, the foremost expert in web psychology, dives into the digital application of behavior sciences, exploring the psychology of how people make decisions in relation to how they interact with technology. She lectures internationally and has worked with Fortune 500 companies and design agencies including Google, eBay and Harvard Business Review. In addition to professional speaking engagements, Nahai has hosted podcasts for The Guardian and shared her expertise by contributing to publications, television and radio.
“Exploring web psychology is a great fit for the sports and entertainment field, where you’re not only selling tickets and products, but also memories and experiences,” said Nahai. “The ability to apply insights from the behavioral sciences to better understand audiences and more effectively interact with them is key to online success.”
Nahai’s best-selling book, Webs of Influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion, brings psychology, neuroscience and behavioral economics together to discover the motivations behind consumer behavior.
“Nathalie Nahai’s research surrounding digital psychographic profiling is enlightening, especially as our world – and our business – continues to advance from a technological standpoint,” said Kim Damron, President and Chief Operating Officer of Paciolan. “Her insights will leave the community at PACnet’18 intrigued, and with actionable ideas to analyze their own personal and professional online behavior.”
Nahai ran the Humanise The Web conference, sits on the advisory board for Social Media Week, and is on the experts’ panel of Ogilvy Change, the leading behavioral interventions agency.
