Binance’s liquidation entry lists a $2.68 million position size for an Ether (ETH) long closed at $2,246, capturing one forced close in the exchange’s perpetual futures market.

The record timestamps the close at 9:59 p.m. ET Nov. 3, corresponding to 02:59 UTC Nov. 4. It identifies the contract as an ETH perpetual future traded on Binance.

The $2.68 million figure is the position size, while $2,246 is its recorded close price; the entry reports no loss amount. It covers one position on one exchange and provides no total for Ether liquidations across the market.

A long futures position moves in the same direction as Ether’s price, with gains or losses following that move. Forced liquidation shuts the contract, so the event concerns derivatives exposure rather than a spot Ether trade.

EconoTimes previously covered a separate Binance Ether futures long liquidation, sized at $11.83 million and recorded at $2,433 on Oct. 20.
