Binance's spot market showed a $3.8126 million gap between the value of listed Ether (ETH) sell and buy orders in one reading, giving a measure of visible liquidity rather than completed trades.
Displayed value on the sell side totaled $11.579 million, while buy orders amounted to $7.7664 million. The book snapshot put Ether at $2,456.92; that figure was a market reference, not the price of every listed order.
Separate market-depth readings for Binance perpetual futures and Coinbase spot put their sell sides ahead, at smaller scales than Binance spot. The figures represent Binance spot, Binance perpetual futures and Coinbase spot; other exchanges and Binance's full order book are outside the comparison.
That was the opposite of an Oct. 17 Binance spot-book reading, when the buy side had $803,700 more displayed value.
The readings capture different moments. Their totals do not show which orders were executed, how long they remained posted or whether the imbalance affected Ether's price.
