The market began trading April 6 on Binance, giving traders access to a continuously available derivative tied to the U.S.-listed ADR of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd.
The reference is the ADR traded on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker TSM. Binance said the contract went live at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC).
Binance made the contract available 24/7, with settlement in Tether (USDT). Leverage is capped at 10x, and funding is settled every eight hours.
A TSMUSDT position is a derivative tied to the ADR and gives no ownership of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. shares. The two instruments are separate.
Binance’s April 2 notice placed the contract fourth in a four-product rollout. QQQUSDT and SPYUSDT had earlier scheduled starts of 9:30 and 9:40 a.m. ET, followed by AAPLUSDT at 9:50 a.m. ET. EconoTimes previously covered Binance’s planned TSMUSDT launch.
