Binance’s Nov. 2 recovery update projected broader withdrawal access for Nov. 3, after the exchange reopened 15 networks and assets in the first phase of its response to the Oct. 29 hot-wallet compromise.

Binance scheduled the first phase to begin at 1 a.m. ET Nov. 1. By 7:36 a.m. ET, withdrawals were active for all 15 networks and assets covered by that rollout, Binance said.

Binance had said its choices would reflect withdrawal demand during the preceding week and security and stability reviews for individual assets and networks. The exchange’s initial withdrawal reopening marked the first step in that process.

Binance suspended withdrawals after the Oct. 29 hot-wallet compromise, which the exchange estimated caused $6.3 billion in token losses. Deposits and services unaffected by the incident remained available, Binance said. The exchange projected its next withdrawal-restoration phase for Nov. 3.
