After XRP rose more than 30% from August, a dollar-denominated measure of large transfers into Binance climbed to a monthly average of $112.4 million, its highest reading since March.
Transactions entered the whale series when each exceeded 1 million XRP, while the published figure represents the monthly average dollar value of those qualifying inflows. The latest reading was roughly $72 million greater than August’s and compared with a mean near $90 million over the prior three months. On some days, measured inflows exceeded $400 million.
A transfer into Binance, on its own, does not establish that the holder sold the tokens. Later inflow readings moved back toward more typical levels.
The incoming-flow figure is separate from a withdrawal series. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost said the 90-day average dollar value of large XRP withdrawals from Binance fell to $49.7 million on Oct. 20, its lowest since October 2021, as reported in EconoTimes’ coverage of the 90-day Binance withdrawal average. The measures track opposite directions over different periods and cannot be combined to calculate net movement.
