The 90-day average dollar value of large XRP withdrawals from Binance fell to $49.7 million on Oct. 20, its lowest since Oct. 2021, on-chain analyst Darkfost said.

A separate measure tracks tokens arriving at the exchange. CryptoQuant analyst Arab Chain reported on Oct. 15 that large XRP deposits to Binance had totaled 1.669 billion XRP over 30 days.

Those readings cover opposite directions and different periods. The withdrawal statistic averages a dollar value over 90 days; the deposit statistic counts tokens over 30 days. Comparing them directly would not yield a net transfer figure.

The outflow average stood at about $3.5 billion in Feb. 2025. Its decline describes the dollar value of large withdrawals, not the number of transactions. The Oct. 20 figure spans a rolling period and is not a tally of withdrawals made that day.

Price changes can also move a dollar-denominated measure without a matching change in the quantity of XRP transferred. At about 7:42 a.m. ET (11:42 UTC), an Oct. 20 market check put XRP near $1.30; its seven-day range was $1.26 to $1.38.

The withdrawal series uses wallets labeled as Binance’s and excludes other exchanges. Receiving addresses do not reveal who owns them or whether a transfer followed a purchase. Changes to exchange wallet labels could also revise past readings.

Deposits likewise do not show that holders sold XRP after moving it to Binance. Neither measure establishes why the value of large withdrawals declined or indicates where XRP’s price will move next.
