A fresh Binance ZEC/USDT spot reading put Zcash (ZEC) at $1,238 at 1:45 p.m. ET (18:45 UTC) Thursday, after a 3.83% four-hour drop; a separate tally showed more long than short liquidations.
At that time, Binance showed ZEC down 3.51% over 24 hours. The pair had been at $1,287 four hours earlier, leaving a $49 gap between the displayed prices.
A separate one-hour tally across Binance, Bybit and OKX recorded $120,000 in liquidations tied to long positions and $20,000 tied to short positions. The long-side figure was $100,000 above the short-side total. The measurements do not establish that liquidations caused the price decline.
As of 19:03 UTC Nov. 5, CoinGecko and exchange spot data put ZEC at $1,223.66, down 4.24% over 24 hours. The later reading came 18 minutes after Binance's quote and reflects a separate market-data snapshot, so its 24-hour percentage differs from the earlier Binance measure. Both cover a 24-hour window ending at their respective snapshot times.
