At 8:03 a.m. ET (12:03 UTC) on Oct. 31, Binance’s AAPLUSDT perpetual displayed $345.83, a quote for the Apple-linked derivative rather than Apple shares.
The contract tracks Apple Inc.’s common stock and settles in Tether (USDT). Binance’s TradFi terms say the contracts confer no ownership of the assets they track. The terms allow trading around the clock and leverage of up to 10x.
Binance announced a start time of 9:50 a.m. ET (13:50 UTC) on Apr. 6, 2026. Its guide cautions that the contract’s quote may differ from Apple’s share price when stock trading resumes. EconoTimes previously covered the exchange’s weekend pricing method for equity perpetuals.
