Zcash (ZEC) fell on Binance over four hours Sunday, while a separate cross-exchange tally showed $840,000 in ZEC long liquidations against $10,000 in ZEC shorts during a one-hour period.
A four-hour comparison on Binance’s ZEC/USDT spot market shows a $46 decline, from $1,288 at 13:21 UTC to $1,242 at 17:21 UTC Nov. 8, or 3.57%.
The one-hour tally covered Binance, Bybit and OKX, but measured liquidations rather than the spot quote. It put ZEC long liquidations at $840,000, compared with $10,000 in ZEC short liquidations. The two readings cover different time windows.
At the 17:21 UTC snapshot, Binance showed a 1.59% drop over 24 hours. CoinGecko and exchange spot data put ZEC at $1,248.35, down 1.10% over 24 hours, as of 17:36 UTC. These are separate snapshots and data measures.
For comparison, an Oct. 19 EconoTimes report on ZEC liquidations recorded $1.61 million in long liquidations and $60,000 in shorts over a different one-hour period.
