Bitcoin (BTC) traded above $82,000 in a Binance spot quote of $82,055 Thursday, Oct. 22, following an earlier observation 15 minutes before at $81,914 that morning.
The later quote was recorded at 6:05 a.m. ET (10:05 UTC). A separate measure showed Bitcoin up 0.32% over the hour leading into that reading. The two prices capture a 15-minute interval, while the percentage figure covers an hour.
This was not the first Binance snapshot that week to place Bitcoin above $82,000. Sunday’s spot quote at $82,152 was followed Monday by a reading of $82,761 after Bitcoin moved above $83,000. Thursday’s figure was below both earlier quotes but remained above $82,000 at the recorded time.
All three figures are snapshots from Binance’s spot market. Thursday’s update pairs a price comparison over 15 minutes with a separate one-hour percentage change.
